Commedia dell'Arte Masks

The Italian Commedia dell’Arte tradition which flourished throughout Europe from the 16th to 18th centuries has provided the roots and vocabulary for modern Western theatre and remained a strong influence upon it. Its imprint can be seen in Shakespeare, Restoration comedy, melodrama, music hall, vaudeville, circus, pantomime as well as many modern comedies and TV sit-coms.

Our Commedia dell’Arte masks are made from high-impact plastic, making them durable, lightweight, and comfortable to wear. Designed to exaggerate character and emotion, these masks help actors deliver bold, physical performances - excellent for fast-paced improvisation and comic storytelling.

Perfect for both professional actors and drama students, these masks are ideal for performance, workshops, and improv sessions.

"Ordered a pair of neutral masks and couldn't be happier. Great quality and they feel/smell freshly made. Once they were ready, shipping was lighting fast, even across the pond. Will likely order more masks from them."

"Amazing company! I have bought a selection of masks from them on two different occasions and each time was delighted with the superb quality of the products. Received prompt responses to my queries and found them to be so helpful. It is always a pleasure to deal with a company that is passionate about what they do and Strangeface Masks really are. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!"
